Daily Classical Istanbul
Day 1
Day will start with visit of Hippodromme Square from 2nd C AD and three different obelisks located in the square. Second visit of the day will be World Famous
Blue Mosque with its beautiful mosaics from early 17th C AD. Hagia Sophia Museum (It is closed on Monday) of Istanbul will be our next
visit. Yerebatan Sarayi (Sunken Cistern of Justinian) with its unique structure will be
visited. Topkapi Palace (it is closed on Tuesday) which is the second residence of Ottoman Dynasty after they conquered Constantinople from 15th C AD and
Islamic Art Museum (it is closed on Monday) will be also visited. Last visit of the day is the biggest historical shopping mall of the World;
Covered Bazaar (It is closed on Sunday). Back to the hotel.
Day 2
Departure from the hotel. First visit of the day is Spice Bazaar from 16th C AD. After having some times in
Spice Bazaar, we will be having a short walk to the scheduled public boats to have our
tour on Bosphorus where we will be able to see the city and beautiful old Turkish Houses from a different perspective. Our next place to visit will be located in the Asian side of the city. We will be driving to
Camlica hill to see the spectacular view of Istanbul. Our last stop for today is one of the summer palace of Ottoman Dynasty;
Beylerbeyi Palace (closed on Monday). Back to the hotel.
Daily Classical Istanbul 2
Day 1
We will be starting our visit with Suleyman the Magnificent Mosque from 1550-1559.
St. Savior in the Chora Museum, one of the best examples for late Byzantine Art from 14th C AD will be our next visit. After driving to the Old City Center of Istanbul ''Sultanahmet'' we are walking in
Hippodrome Square with three obelisks, initiated by Emperor Septimus Severus in 2nd C AD. World famous
Blue Mosque from 17th C AD. welcomes us into its impressive interior design. We will have our delicious lunch.
St. Sophia Museum which was built as a church in 6th C AD during Emperor Justinian period will be our next place to visit.
Basilica Cistern with its unique architectural design will be followed our visit to the biggest ancient bazaar of the World with its more than 3500 shops
''Covered Bazaar''. Back to the hotel. Lunch is not included.
Day 2
After a nice trip from new part of the city to old one we reach to a dreamy place created by Silk Road
''Spice Bazaar''. After having some free-time in the bazaar, we will depart for our private boat to discover the beauty of Istanbul from Cruise on Bosphorus.
Cruise on Bosphorus will take us till the point that we can see Black Sea. After lunch we start to highlight of the day
''Topkapi Palace''. Mysterious part of the palace ''Harem'' and home of one of the biggest diamonds of the World ''Spoonmaker Diamond'' in
Treasury will be visited. Back to the hotel. Lunch is not included.
Jewish Heritage in Istanbul
Day 1
Today, we will be visiting important Jewish Sites in the city. We will start with
Neve Shalom Synagogue in the old former Jewish section. Afterwards next stop will be
Ahrida Synagogue which is the first synagogue in Istanbul after the Jews had been exiled from Spain and welcomed by the Sultan to Ottoman Empire.
Turkish Jewish History Museum will be our next stop. Then we will drive to Ulus one of the suburbs of Istanbul to visit
Jewish Cemetery. Ortakoy Synagogue will be our final visit for the day. Back to the hotel. Lunch is not included.
Day 2
First thing in the morning will be the visit of Spice Bazaar of the Istanbul. Best buy in the bazaar can be reasonable Turkish Safrane. We will have our
boat tour in a public boat on the one of the most beautiful water way in the World
"Bosphorus" which is a strait between Sea of Marmara and Black Sea. As we are sailing on the Bosphorus we will be able to see outstanding suburbs of Istanbul (Boat tour takes about one and the half hours to two hours). We are finishing our boat tour in the Asian side of Istanbul and visiting another
Synagogue at the Asian side. We are driving to world famous Covered Bazaar to see one of the biggest historical shopping mall of the world with more than 4000 shops. Back to the hotel. Lunch is not included.
Daily Tour of Ephesus
Day 1
Day will start with House of Virgin Mary located by Ephesus at the top of the mountain. It is believed she spent the last years of her life in this small chapel. Highlight of the day is
Ephesus, not only a very important site from archeologic point of view and the best remaining ancient city of the World, but also another one of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor.
Basilica of St John the Evangelist, Archeological Museum of Ephesus and remaining of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World,
Temple of Artemis will be our other places to visit. Lunch break in the local Turkish restaurant. Dinner at the hotel. Lunch is not included.
